Hi there, I'm Jodi!


I am a Certified Holistic Nutritionist and Metabolic Balance Coach in Canada.


With Metabolic Balance, you're not just embarking on a wellness journey but embracing a holistic, personalized path to lasting health and vitality.


There are four pillars of health and nutrition is a big one. With this in mind, a unique and individually tailored meal plan will be created for you so you can achieve optimal body weight, energy, and hormonal balance. We will then create a protocol around the remaining three pillars of health: exercise, sleep & stress. 


Combining the science of Metabolic Balance with the four pillars of health empowers you with the tools and knowledge to nourish your whole being so you can achieve sustainable lifestyle change.

The Four Pillars of Health

When it comes to your health goals, whatever they may be, you have to address the four pillars of health. If you don’t…nothing else will work. This is the simple truth.

These four pillars work very closely together to create balance (or imbalance) in your whole health and nourishing each one creates a more energized and healthy you.

As a nutritionist, this is the pillar that is near and dear to my heart. That old saying “you are what you eat” is often said flippantly but it has more truth than people understand. 


This is the pillar that often requires the most attention and the one that most people struggle with. And I get it. Asking someone to change their diet feels like learning a new language. This is where the science of Metabolic Balance and my coaching come together to support you through these changes.


A custom nutrition plan will be created for you based on an in-depth medical assessment, required blood values, and even your food likes & dislikes. It’s where we will determine what food choices are best and going to support any imbalances or deficiencies you may have.

Your health journey begins the moment we evaluate your starting point in each of these pillars. Together we create a custom protocol specifically tailored to you and what’s realistic to integrate into your everyday life. Small daily habits will create long-lasting sustainable change.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What results can I expect in terms of weight loss?
    Everybody is going to respond differently, however it is realistic to expect to lose 5-8% of your total body weight during your 16 day reset period. Past that, 1-2% of your total body weight per week. That is optimal and realistic to achieve.
  • How long does it take to get my plan and get started?
    From the moment you get your labs done I will have your plan to review in roughly 3-5 business days and then you can start!
  • Can I claim your services through my benefits?
    While health benefits vary, it falls under either Nutritional Counselling or a Health Spending Account.
  • Can vegans/vegetarians do the Metabolic Balance Program?
    Vegetarian plans can be generated for those who eat dairy and eggs. While protein options become more limited you can still have success if following a vegetarian diet. Strict vegans cannot participate in the Metabolic Balance program.
  • Can I do Metabolic Balance even if I don't need to lose weight?
    Yes. This is taken this into account when creating your plan and when specifying quantities. Following Metabolic Balance is an excellent way to learn the right foods for you and to generally improve your energy and quality of life.
